Welcome to Campus Memory Books ("we", "our", "us"), available at https://digitalmemorybook.online. We respect your privacy and are committed to being completely transparent about how your data is collected, used, and protected.
1. Information We Collect
When you claim a spot, purchase a page, or upload memories to our digital yearbook, we collect:
- Contact Information: Your email address (used for order confirmation, slot verification, and magic-link sign-ins).
- Profile & Memory Content: Student display name, degree/batch (e.g., B.Tech, MBA), personal caption, message, and uploaded photographs.
- Public Social Links: Any social media profiles (Instagram handle, LinkedIn URL, portfolio website) you voluntarily choose to attach to your spot.
- Payment Information: Transaction identifiers and payment status provided by our payment gateway. We never see, collect, or store your credit/debit card numbers, UPI PINs, or banking passwords.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected exclusively to:
- Allocate and render your chosen spot/page in your university's digital memory book.
- Send payment confirmations and authentication links to manage your claimed frames.
- Moderate uploaded media to enforce community guidelines (zero tolerance for harmful or banned content).
- Prevent fraud and duplicate claiming of the same frame.
3. Media & Cloud Storage Security
Photographs you upload are processed through secure server-side optimization pipelines. Metadata (such as location coordinates or device EXIF data) is stripped upon upload. Optimized WebP images are securely stored and distributed via Cloudflare R2 global content delivery networks.
4. Payment Processing (Cashfree Payments)
Payments are processed securely via Cashfree Payments India, an RBI-authorized payment aggregator compliant with PCI-DSS standards. Cashfree handles all card processing, UPI, and net banking over 256-bit encrypted channels.
5. Your Data Rights & Deletion
You have full control over your photo and memory data. If you wish to update your picture or permanently delete your memory frame from the book, you can:
- Edit your photo anytime at My Spots.
- Contact our moderation team at sarwararobin2@gmail.com for immediate removal.
- Report any picture via the in-app "Report this photo" button.
